I feel the need, the need for speed!
Or another NWRIA social event as
the case may be. The movie Top Gun
is going to be playing at the Redhook
Moonlight Cinema on the lawn and
we thought it would be a great excuse
to get together.
The date is August 14th (Thursday
night) at Red Hook in Woodinville.
The movie generally starts around
dusk but as previous movie goers
know the venue starts to fill up
around 6:30. I'm looking for 5 people
to find and join me at the gates
at 5:30 to help me save a spot on
the lawn (the gates open at 6).
As a thank you for this NWRIA will
buy your admission ticket. This
way we are able to stake out a prime
movie viewing spot so we don't miss
any of the fighter jets, tangle
of the tongues, and Tom Cruise (or
Kelly McGillis if you prefer).
Just keep an eye out for the parachute
on the lawn (don't worry, it's not
Goose's) and feel free to join us.
This event is also a military appreciation
night so if you have a military
ID you will be let in for free.
Beer and food are available on site
and they even let you bring in a
picnic basket of your own. If any
of you have ever drank beer with
the military you know how crazy
it can get so be prepared for a
great time.
Directions to Redhook:
" From I-405 North or South,
take the Wenatchee/Monroe exit (#23
East) to Highway 522 East.
" Take the Woodinville exit
and stay to the right.
" Turn right on NE 175th.
" Turn left at the 4-way stop
onto Highway 202.
" Travel approximately 2 miles.
" The Redhook Brewery is on
the left, across the road from Chateau
Ste. Michelle Winery.
